In Boston, the place I love to go again and again is the Boston Public Garden. Here I like the bronze statue of the "Make Way For Ducklings". On Good Friday weekend i have been there and found all the ducklings decorated with beautiful hats.
The sculpture shows Mrs. Mallard, the Mama duck leading the way to the 8 ducklings named Jack, Kack, Lack, Mack, Nack, Ouack, Pack, and Quack. The duckling, number seven of eight was stolen recently. I hate the people who do such things. I felt very sad to see the empty slot. The row looks incomplete now. I hope that the park authorities will replace it with a new duckling soon so that I can visit the complete duck family in my next visit.
In this park Ducks, Geese, Squirrels and Pigeons are very friendly. If you give them food they will pose for your photographs too.
Hey Guys..Thank you so much for helping us in finding our lost cell phone...
To the reader - when we were at Times Square, we happened to sit on the "Red Stairs" for a while and from there we moved on to Empire State Building. After crossing two streets we realized that one of our Cell Phones is missing. It was a bit upsetting as it is not even six months old. So we ran back to see if we can find it at the Red Stairs, but no luck. We lost the hope of finding it.
As a last attempt, I called that number from another cell phone and found that someone had handed it over to the NYPD (New York City Ploice Department) officer and it was sent to their office. It all happend just in 10 minutes, so quick isn't it??...then we went to NYPD office and collected it. We felt very happy to find it. Thanks to the person who handed it over to the officer and the officer who took care of it. You can see that Cop in the below picture.
This is my Fourth visit to NYC, with my cousin this time. The city looks all the same. Not much change. By the time we reached there it was rush hour in the evening. People...People everywhere....its like a human ocean....most of them wearing black coats..i think i can refer that as a Black Sea...I love spending time at Times Square. It is the best part of the city. I never get bored watching those electric billboards and hoardings. we spent around an hour there and I managed to get some good shots of times square. This time i went inside the Trinity Church. It is one of the oldest churches in New York, first built in 1698. It looked beautiful with the Easter decoration. Check out the pictures.....
INDIA!!! As I heard in one of the tourism commercials.....Incredible India....there is no doubt about it. It is my motherland and I lived there for almost 26 years. Now I am away from my country for some valid reasons. No matter how far I go, there are always strings attached to me, which pulls me toward my country. I am sure there will be a day when I am going to go back and shout at the top of my voice....Yehhh....I AM HOME..!!!
So far I saw few important places in India and there is still a lot to see. Here are some of the photographs of my journey to North India.
Dilwalon Ki Shahar Delhi..!!...Yeh Dilli Hai Mere Yaar...Bas Ishq Mohabbat Pyaar...Basti Hai Mastono Ki Dilli Dilli....Gali Hai Deewano Ki Dilli.....(my favourtie song about Delhi from hindi movie Delhi 6)........
This is India Gate. It is a war memorial built for Indian soldiers who died in World War-I and the Afghan Wars. Under the arch you will see an Amar Jawan Jyoti - the flame of the immortal warriors. This is the most important place to see in New Delhi. It’s a nice place to spend few hours of an evening.

This place is called Rajpath (Ceremonial Avenue) and you can see the Rashtrapathi Bhavan (Presidential Palace) in the background. A grand parade will be held on this avenue every year on January 26th (Republic day). The commander-in-chief of the armed forces (The President) will take the salute from Army, Navy and Air Force with all their latest weaponry while they march-past on the Raj Path. During my childhood days I used to watch the parade on TV without fail every year and used to wonder when i am going to attend it personally. Finally I got the opportunity in 2006. It's like a dream come true for me. And it is so wonderful to see President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.
Lal Qila (Red Fort)....It was built by Emperor Shah Jahan (i really don’t remember the exact year, but some where in 17th century....I feel now it’s the time to brush-up my knowledge in history..:-). This is another most important tourist attraction in Delhi. The fort is also the location from which the Prime Minister of India addresses the nation on 15th August (Independence Day). The fort is located in Old Delhi. Old Delhi is the best place for shopping. However, we must be very careful, as plenty of chances of being duped and end-up with a useless thing. I like the architecture of Lal Qila. We can spend couple of hours in admiring the beauty of Mughal Architecture.
Qutab Minar -The world's tallest free standing minaret which is built somewhere between 11th and 14th centuries. It was built in three phases by different Muslim rulers of India. In the same complex you can find an old iron pillar (in a destroyed temple) which is built before 9th century. It is a metallurgical wonder as it withstood the corrosion from thousands of years.

This is Akshardham. One of the most beautiful modern temples in India. I was awestruck when i looked at the astonishing architecture of the temple. The temple is well maintained and you will experience the great spirituality. The musical fountain is another great attraction. The Shrishti (Creation), Sthithi (Sustenance) and Laya (Dissolution) of universe by Brahma, Vishnu and Maheshwara (As per Hindu mythology these three gods are knows as Trimurthi) was shown with the dancing fountains and various colours of lights. This is something you have to see and experience the divine feeling. No words can describe it.

This is Palika Bazaar. A famous shopping spot in Delhi and it is one of the biggest underground markets. People usually buy electronics and clothing here. This is the best place for bargain hunters. You must be really smart to do shopping here, or else you will end up paying more. I personally don't like this place, as i am not at all good at bargaining. But i have been here for couple of times along with my friends/family.
Last but the most important one...Food.....This is the traditional South Indian Food platter. You can get a total traditional thali like this in Delhi only at AP (Andhra Pradesh) Bhavan. This is a favourite food point for most of the South Indians living in Delhi. I love the food here.
So this is all about Delhi.......on the whole...my stay in Delhi was fantastic, except the hot Summer days.
